day 1 ~ physical hunger

today is my second day of this journey, now i want to reflect a little bit about my first day (yesterday). i got up at 8:00 and drank lots of water and some nettle tea. i did a short work out (squats, crunches) and then ate half a watermelon at 10:00. i read a lot in connie's blogs and found them extremely inspiring. i made another work out (push-ups, squats, arms) and then went for a walk. it was beautiful, the sun was shining, i felt warm and safe, when i was lying on a park bench. i talked with a very good friend of mine on the phone and also with my parents. when i came home at 16:00, i made a green smoothie (water + 1 pineapple + 1 mango + 1 lettuce heart). i listened to music, read blogs and spent time on 30bad. at 17:00 i got hungry again and cut some greens and veggies. i got the inspiration from connie to eat my salad "naked", undressed. it was the best salad i ever had (lettuce hearts, tomatoes, cukes, sweet corn). i really enjoyed it. then i did a rebounder work out from 20:40 to 21:00. i felt fabulous afterwards. i consumed about 1200kcal yesterday. when i woke up today, i felt good, my tummy was flat and felt empty, my bms are awesome, for those who are interested xP.


what really helps to enjoy my food and to stop eating when i am truly satisfied is: being hungry. yes, this is crucial, i tell you! before, i was kind of afraid of this feeling. (i had a time in my life when i was struggling with latent anorexia nervosa.) now i appreciate this feeling of hunger again, but i'm not fond of it. i like to be hungry and then eat something nice sweet and juicy.

i like going to the park and enjoying the sunshine. i will go there more often!
